Dhaka North and South city units of BNP have instructed leaders and activists of all front and associate bodies to remove all their offices and publicity materials, including banners and festoons from various wards.

In two separate statements issued on Saturday, Dhaka South City Unit Convenor Rafikul Alam Majnu, Member Secretary Tanveer Ahmed Robin, and Dhaka North City Unit Convener Aminul Haque, along with Mostafa Zaman, called upon the party men to comply with the instruction.

The leaders and activists of the party have been asked to dismantle offices of different units, front and associate organisations from different wards within the next three days, read the statements.

They also directed the party activists to bring down banners, festoons, posters and billboards from different establishments by Monday evening, it added.

“Organisational action will be taken against those who will fail to comply with the instructions,” according to the statements.
