However, due to the increase in the price of coal and raw materials, the amount of profit has decreased, said blacksmith artists.

Chandpur Sadar, Hajiganj, Shahrasti, Kachua, Matlab Bazar, Faridganj's Rupsa Bazar, Girdkalindiya Bazar, Nairhat Bazar, Kalir Bazar, Chandra Bazar, Munsir Hat area can be visited and many blacksmith shops can be visited. Common people are rushing to Kamarpara. Someone is coming to give Shan (Dar) to the Da-Bati-Churi in the house. Brand new knives, forks, knives and knives are lined up in front of the shop.

Talking to them, it is known that the cow market has not gathered yet around Eid. But orders are getting from those who will make new equipment. Those who have tools in their homes are also coming to the forge to sharpen. However, most of the people want to buy Kurban cows or lend Da, Khita, Boti 2-3 days before Eid. Then the engagement will increase. Due to the increase in the price of coal and iron, the cost has also increased. As a result, the amount of profit has decreased a lot, they said.

Currently, animal skinning knife is Tk 100 to Tk 300, knife is Tk 250 to Tk 600, knife is Tk 300 to Tk 500, animal slaughter knife is Tk 300 to Tk 1000 depending on the quality and size, Hansua is Tk 150, meat cutter is Tk 2000, Katari is Tk 250 to Tk 300, Kural is being sold for 800 to 1000 taka and chapati 500 to 1200 taka.

Faridganj Bazar blacksmith Orun Karmakar Karmakar talks with customer Mofizul. He said that as Eid is approaching, the blacksmiths have also increased their wages and prices of tools. I bought a knife for 200 rupees which was 100 rupees four or five months ago. Blacksmiths are also charging high prices to repair old equipment.

Meanwhile, the demand for tree trunks for making meat has also increased greatly. Many are now in a rush to buy logs at local sawmills.
