
Biresh Chandra High School students overjoyed to receive new books in Sylhet

Students and teachers are celebrating this event of giving new books like a festival. After getting the new books in hand, the students were so excited. The joy of getting the book in hand. Like every year, this year students are celebrating with new books.
At the beginning of the year, the school premises are full of young students walking from morning. Purpose, getting new books. It was the first day of the new year, so the joy was high. Starting from small students, the teachers and parents of their institutions also participated in the textbook festival at Akhalia New Market Viresh Chandra High School ground in Ward No. 8 of Sylhet city.
Sylhet City Corporation Mayor Anwaruzzaman Chowdhury inaugurated the festival on Monday (January 01) at Akhalia Biresh Chandra High School grounds with students, teachers, parents, public representatives by flying colorful balloons and doves as symbols of peace.
In the opening ceremony, Mayor Anwaruzzaman Chowdhury said, "Students will go to school smelling the smell of new books for the new year, we have succeeded in that."
This success is due to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's initiative. He said that Biresh Chandra High School is celebrating the book festival like the rest of the country. All educational institutions in Sylhet are happy to get new books at the beginning of the year. Hope everyone will get the new book and focus on reading. He also said that Bangladesh dreams of a golden bangla in the future, the way to reach our goal, our education is the most important way to reach there. And Bangabandhu's daughter Sheikh Hasina is working relentlessly for the development of that education.
Jagadish Chandra Das, the councilor of the 8th ward of the city, who spoke as a special guest, said that there is no alternative to education to create skilled human resources. And the basic foundation of education is primary education. To the students, he said, I request you to study well and make yourself a good person. So that we can build the golden Bangla left by Bangabandhu. Rebecca Begum Benu, female councilor of Ward 7, 8 and 9, was present as a special guest.
Under the chairmanship of Akhalia Biresh Chandra High School Head Teacher Arjun Chandra Das and Assistant Teacher Shimul Chakraborty, Terawat from the Holy Quran was recited by student Md. Sujan Ahmad and Greeta was recited by Srabanti Rani Das.
Among others, Education Consultant City Corporation Anil Krishna Majundar, Education Officer Nehar Ranjan Purkayastha, Biresh Chandra High School Managing Committee Member Nuruzzaman Shahjahan, Nazrul Islam Naju and various guests were present. After that, books were handed out from the stage.
The students expressed their happiness by raising their hands with the new books. The students were running around the field to the rhythm of drumming and smelling the smell of new books.
