Asaduzzaman Khan Shishu Park in Tangail's Bhuapur has been encroached by the influential quarters for years and is constantly ruining the children's entertainment environment.

This children's park named Asaduzzaman Khan was established by Khaleda Habib Khan, his privileged daughter, in the ancestral land of Ibrahim Khan, the renowned literary principal of the Indian subcontinent, for the entertainment of children in Bhuapur. After the establishment of the children's park, there is a security fence around it, but the influential circles are breaking the fence and occupying the space of the children's park and using it for various purposes. The park has been occupied by bricks, sand and rods for the construction of a multi-storied building for the past few years after breaking the fence on one side of the park.

On the other side, Asaduzzaman Khan Hafizia Madrasa authority and adjacent owned multi-storied building occupied it for years. Since that time, the park has been under the control of some influential quarters. By stopping children's entertainment in the park, the path of physical and mental development of children and teenagers is being disrupted to an extreme extent.

On the spot it was seen that the hotel owners have piled wood and stove ash inside the children's park. At the entrance of Shishu Park, the hotel owner is occupying and selling various food items. On the other hand, morning-evening blister, nut, jhalmuri sellers are standing inside the children's park with vans and selling food items. By doing this, the children's play area is being disrupted as well as the environment is being destroyed. There were countless rides in the park for children's entertainment, various parts of the rides are rusting due to lack of proper environment for sports. Little children are unknowingly getting injured while playing on broken rusty rides. Some people are tearing their clothes without knowing it.

Zaman Shishu Park, the only children's park in Bhuapur, was established at Principal Ibrahim Khan's place for the entertainment of children. The park is seen on the grounds of the hall established for children's entertainment during the day occupied by hotel, hawker and Sanko Kindergarten owners.

Again from afternoon to night in the possession of juvenile gangs. At this time, the people of the houses around the children's park are afraid of teenage gangs. After evening, the streets around it become restricted to the movement of women and common people due to the fear of juvenile gangs. Owned five-six-storied multi-storied buildings, owned diabetic hospital and clinic, Hafizia Madrasa, secondary teachers' association multi-storied buildings, hotels, and kindergartens have been built next to the Shishu Park.

As the park is established in a populated area and there is no maintenance or monitoring, the only children's park is being used by everyone. By breaking the security fence on the south side of the Bhuapur Madhyamik Teachers Association Park, the multi-storied building of the association has been integrated into the Shishu Park. The building of the association has been rented out for hotel management.

The upper three, four and five floors are Sanko Kindergarten. Next to it are Asaduzzaman Khan Hafizia Madrasa and Aminul Islam Kindergarten. The assembly is occupying the Kamalmati Children's Park of Sako Kindergarten every day. At that time, the assembly was going on with the health risk of black smoke in the hotel. In the Shishupark field, thousands of children from Sako Kindergarten, Aminul Islam Kindergarten and Asaduzzaman Kindergarten and Hafizia Madrasa can be seen playing sports until the start of their classes. All of them are between five and eight years old. Safety and health risks for children of this age are expected in this children's park. As a result, children are at risk of various diseases including breathing problems. As a result, the parents are forcing the children to spend almost all the time confined within the four walls of the house. They are getting involved in mobile games. Being addicted to mobile.

Children's parents of Kindergarten and Hafizia Madrasa said that the children started running with their classmates without being able to play on the rides when they came to the children's park. Many children are seriously injured by falling bricks, stumbling with wood while running. We want this children's park to be freed from encroachment and create a safety fence around it to bring back the entertainment environment. The children's park was quickly renovated and developed as a suitable entertainment center for children and teenagers.

Acknowledging the reality of the environment of Bhuapur Shishu Park, General Secretary of Upazila Madhyamik Teachers Association Kazi Zahurul said that since there are small children of Kindergarten here, they are having assembly in the morning, it is not right to keep a hotel there. We are trying to relocate the hotel as soon as possible. Zafar Iqbal Shaheen, Acting President of Secondary Teachers' Association, said that we are using the empty space in front of the Secondary Teachers' Association in the same way that everyone is using it. We did not know that the hotel would be doing business there as we rented out our building. We asked them to take place elsewhere in hotel management.

Bhuapur Municipality Mayor Vir Muktijodha Masudul Haque Masud said the park was previously repaired from the municipal allocation. The park is being used by different people at different times for their needs. And the municipality does not have enough manpower to carry out round-the-clock supervision. The park will be modernized and built if the government allocates funds for renovation work.
