Bengali New Year celebrated by Singair upazila administration

With the slogan "Mushe jaak glani, Ghuche jaak jara', get clean in the fire bath" organized by the Singair upazila administration of Manikganj, Bengali New Year 1431 celebrations, colourful rallies and various programs were held.
On Sunday, Bangla Pahela Baishakh morning, a Mangal procession and a colorful rally were held under the leadership of Singair Upazila Nirbahi Officer Palash Kumar Basu. The rally started from Singair Upazila Parishad, circled Singair Bus Stand and ended at Singair Officers Club Auditorium. Later cultural program was held.
Manikganj-2 MP Dewan Zahid Ahmed Tulu was present as the chief guest in the program under the chairmanship of Upazila Executive Officer Palash Kumar Basu.
Assistant Commissioner (Land) Abdul Qayyum Khan, Upazila Parishad Chairman (Acting) Sharmin Akhtar, Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Ziarul Islam, Upazila Anti-Corruption Committee President Engineer Yunus, Singair Government College Principal Nuruddin, UP Chairman Dewan Jinnah Lathu, Abul Hossain , Zahidul Islam Bhuiya, Ramazan Ali, Gazi Kamruzzaman, Zilla Parishad member Tamez Uddin, Upazila Awami League Joint Editor Saidul Islam and various officials, freedom fighters, local public representatives, teachers, students and dignitaries were present.
Later, on the occasion of the New Year, after a wonderful cultural program, prizes were distributed among the winners of the painting competition with the participation of students from various schools.
