BDR Kallyan Parishad, Chittagong has submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner after human chain asking for the reinstatement of the members who were sacked and jailed in the BDR Rebellion incident and a fair investigation into the murders on Thursday.

A human chain was formed in front of the district administrator's office and a memorandum was handed over to the Chittagong district administrator.

They said in the human chain that they strongly condemned the hellish massacre of history that happened on February 25 and 26 in 2009 and demanded the cancellation of all proceedings of the farce special court formed at that time through executive orderAt this time, the speakers mentioned the description of torture and the long-term inhumane life and requested the chief advisor of the interim government.

At this time, the advisor of BDR Kalyan Parishad Chittagong was present. Abdul Hakim and Md. Shahjahan, chief coordinator of BDR Kalyan Parishad Chittagong Shambhu Nath Sen, president of BDR Kalyan Parishad Dhaka Faizul Alam, coordinator of Dhaka Biswajit Das, coordinator of Dhaka Layaju Committee Sohel and other dismissed BDR members of Chittagong district.

The memorandum mentions that on February 25 and 26, 2009, the Pilkhana massacre took place with the indirect support of the then Prime Minister and influential leaders and violence spread throughout the BDR. Many BDR members were dismissed, sentenced to various terms of imprisonment and fined by an organized court, with the intention of hiding the involvement of the government. In organized courts, the defendants are barred from hiring lawyers, thereby completely depriving the defendants of a fair trial
