The 23rd Finance Committee meeting of Bangladesh Army University of Engineering & Technology (BAUET) was held on Wednesday (14 August 2024) at 1:00 PM in the Syndicate Room under the chairmanship of Major General Md. Khaled-Al-Mamun, PBGM, ndc, psc, Area Commander, Bogra Area and GOC 11 Infantry Division.

In the meeting, the minutes of the 22nd Finance Committee meeting were reviewed and approved. Important decisions were taken including discussion of the revised budget for the financial year 2023-24 and the proposed budget for the financial year 2024-25, construction of the 3rd floor of the administration building, emergency stairs of Baral Hall, purchase of library books, vehicles, generators and laboratory equipment etc.

Sazzad Hossain, Head, Department of Physics & Dean (Faculty Science & Humanities), Prof. Mohammed Golam Sarwar Bhuyan, Head, Department of CSE & Dean (ECE), Mahfuza Nasreen, Principal, Qadirabad Cantonment Sapper College, Md. Salim Reza ACMA, Acting Director (Finance & Accounts), BAUET.

After the meeting, Area Commander Bogura and GOC 11 Infantry Division inaugurated the tree plantation program in the premises of administrative building of BAUET Campus. He said, "This institution has stood as an international level institution little by little. The teachers are the guides, the students here are not just memorizing, they are learning by hand.” Deans of various faculties, heads of departments, faculty and staff of the university were present on the occasion.
