
Bangladeshi student Sujash Purna gets US citizenship

Sujash Purna, a Bangladeshi meritorious student has been officially granted US citizenship. As a result, Sujash can vote in the US elections, run for electoral positions up to their Vice President.
Sujash Purna currently holds BA Honours, Double MA, PhD Fellowship and GTA at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
His wife Priyadarshini, a US citizen of Norwegian descent, Ariana Hetland, a Research Program Coordinator for the world's best cancer hospital - UW-Madison Cancer Research Center.
Several prize winning photographer and artist Sujash is the noted author of five books of poetry.
He left the country 12 years ago. Before he left, he went to Notre Dame College and before that to Ideal School.
While studying BBA in IBA of Dhaka University, Sujash received President’s Scholarship and moved to the US as an international student.
His father Zohurul Islam Tuku is an eminent journalist and his mother Dilruba Ahmed Shikha is a retired government officer in Bangladesh.
