
Bangladeshi died in road accident in Qatar

A Bangladeshi was killed in a road accident on his way home after offering Jumma prayers at a mosque in Qatar.
The accident occurred on the Doha Highway in Qatar at 2 pm local time on Friday.
The deceased Bangladeshi is Hafez Md. Jahangir (58), son of the late Abdus Chobhan Shah of Dighirpar village in Panchbag union under Pagla police station in Gafargaon upazila of Mymensingh. The deceased's elder brother, Maulana Kamal Uddin, assistant teacher of Dighirpar D. S. N. Alim Madrasa in the upazila, confirmed this information.
The deceased Hafez Md. Jahangir migrated to Qatar 12 years ago in search of livelihood. There, he worked as a caretaker at a mosque. The deceased Jahangir is survived by his wife, 2 sons and 1 daughter. A shadow of grief has descended on the area after hearing the news of his death.
The deceased's elder brother said that while returning home after Jumma prayers, a car lost control and hit Jahangir from behind. He suffered a serious head injury and fell on the road. He was later rescued from the scene and admitted to Doha Hamad Medical City Hospital. Jahangir died at around 4 am on Thursday, February 6, while undergoing treatment there. The body of the deceased has been kept in the hospital morgue.
