Back Bangladeshi killed in BGB firing

60 BGB captain AM Jaber bin Jabbar said that Anwar Hossain tried to enter India illegally in the morning. At that time, the BSF members fired at him and he was shot dead.

The BGB heard this news through the locals. When BSF was contacted about this issue, BSF denied the incident.

The Bangladeshi was killed in BSF firing. But they are looking into the matter. If the body of the deceased is recovered and post-mortem is done, the body of the deceased will be sent back to Bangladesh. Discussions with BSF are ongoing.

The BGB captain also said that the BGB has learned from the locals that the deceased Anwar used to work as a laborer carrying sugar smuggled from India. Today - 09 June 2024: 150 battalion BSF from Kharera BOP in the incident of BSF firing at Comilla Burichong border. Called for flag meeting at Company Commander level with Kalamchara (B Co.) camp.
