Autorickshaw drivers block road for second day

Vehicular movement on both sides of road in the capital's Rampura area remained suspended as drivers of battery-run rickshaw and easy bike took position in front of Better Life Hospital.
They started protest around 9:45am near the Better Life Hospital for second day on Monday.
Rampura Police Station OC Md Moshiur Rahman said the drivers took to the street in the morning, causing huge tailback in the area.
Additional police have been deployed to avert any untoward situation, he added.
The protesters on Sunday blocked Mirpur 10, 11, 12 protesting the ongoing crackdown against their vehicles. They set fire on a police box in Kalshi area.
