Arms exhibition inaugurated for first time at Sheikh Hasina Cantonment at Lebukhali in Patuakhali

Arms exhibition has been inaugurated for the first time at Sheikh Hasina cantonment in Patuakhali's Lebukhali.
Major General Abdul Qayyum Molla, General Officer Commanding and Area Commander of Bangladesh Army's 7th Infantry Division, inaugurated the weapons exhibition as the chief guest at 11 am.
This 6-day arms exhibition will continue till March 30. It will be open to public from 11 am to 4 pm daily.
After the opening ceremony, the chief guest visited the stalls of the exhibition. State Minister for Water Resources Zahid Farooq MP, Barisal City Mayor Abul Khail Abdullah Khokon Serniabat were present as special guests.
It is to be noted that the Bangladesh Army has organized this exhibition in Barisal area for the first time.
The Arms Exhibition organized at Sheikh Hasina Cantonment will showcase activities of various Arms and Services of Bangladesh Army, Great Liberation War, Brief History of Sheikh Hasina Cantonment, Role of Army in Country and Nation Building and Glorious History/Achievement of Bangladesh Army in United Nations Peacekeeping Mission and different types of Arms and Equipment used in Army.
The ceremony was attended by military officers and army personnel of various ranks as well as senior officers of the civil administration, dignitaries of the region and media persons.
