Armed Forces Day celebrated in Longadu Army Zone

Longadu Army Zone was celebrated Armed Forces Bahini Day with due dignity and great enthusiasm at Longadu in Rangamati.
On Tuesday at 12 o'clock in the Longdu zone, a banquet was organized in the presence of local administration, teachers, journalists, public representatives, headmen and businessmen.
Longadu Zone Deputy Inspector Major Rifatuzjak, Ansar Battalion Captain ASM Azim Uddin, Upazila Chairman Abdul Barek Sarkar, Upazila Executive Officer Saiful Islam, Longadu Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Iqbal Uddin, Vice Chairman Sirajul Islam and Anwara Begum of Zilla Parishad were presentLocal public representatives including member Asma Begum.It should be noted that the Bangladesh military was formed on November 21, 1971 during the liberation war. For this reason this day is observed as Armed Forces Day.
On this day, various programs are organized at Banga Bhavan, Army Headquarters, Dhaka Cantonment and every military establishment in the country.
