Approval of admission of 60 student athletes in DU under sports quota

60 meritorious sports students who have excelled in various sports at the national level have been approved for admission under the player quota in the undergraduate program in Dhaka University for the academic year 2022-2023.
This approval was given in a meeting held today 04 October 2023 at the Vice-Chancellor's Lounge in the light of the recommendation of the Committee on Admission to Player Quota and the Deans concerned.
University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman presided over the meeting.
It is to be noted that the decision to admit students in player quota from 2022-2023 academic year has been taken with the aim of improving the quality of sports in Dhaka University, producing quality players and producing skilled athletes to participate in national and international level sports competitions.
