Application of 2500 deprived officials in Public Administration Ministry

Senior Secretary Mokhles Ur Rahman said that about 2,500 retired officers who are deprived of promotion and facilities have applied to the Ministry of Public Administration. He also said that a committee headed by former finance secretary Zakir Ahmed Khan has been formed in this regard.
The Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration said these in a briefing at the Secretariat on Monday.
He said that from 2009 to August 4, 2024, about 2,500 officials who were deprived of promotion and privileges applied to the Ministry of Public Administration for privileges. In this regard, a committee has been formed headed by former finance secretary Zakir Ahmed Khan. The committee will make recommendations in this regard within 3 months.
The Ministry of Public Administration will provide overall secretarial support to the committee.
Senior Secretary Mokhles Ur Rahman said that if the intelligence information about these deprived officials is positive, they may be given a chance to work again. Apart from this, financial facilities can also be given.
