Anti-drug rally, assembly held in Manikchhari

An anti-drug rally and assembly was held in Manikchhari upazila of Khagrachhari under the slogan "Say No to Drugs, Build a Drug-Free Society."
On Sunday morning, initiated by the Manikchhari Police Station, the rally started from the Akashpari area of Manikchhari Bazar with the participation of police personnel, social and political figures, and people from various professional backgrounds. The procession paraded through the main bazaar roads and concluded with a rally in front of the Union Parishad premises.
The assembly was addressed by Manikchhari Police Station OC Masud Parvez, Upazila BNP President Habibur Rahman Habib, Vice-President Zainal Abedin, Organizing Secretary Nuruzzaman Master, and Upazila Jubo Dal Acting Convenor Mir Hossain.
Speakers at the event remarked that drugs drag individuals, families, and society toward destruction, emphasizing that families, educational institutions, social organizations, and the administration must work together to prevent drug addiction.
