Inspecting the passing-out parade, the Director General highlighted the vital contributions of embodied Ansar members in safeguarding the nation's economy, industrial manufacturing units, and Key Point Installations (KPIs).
Detailing recent administrative reforms, the Director General announced that initiatives to improve members' welfare and living standards are well underway. He stated that the long-standing "rest system" has been abolished, salary increase proposals are in their final stages, and measures are being implemented to improve housing facilities, secure transfers within home districts, and enhance the quality and quantity of rations.
Highlighting the scope of the 60-day basic training—which commenced on September 6, 2026, with 654 participants out of 692 approved trainees, culminating in 627 successful graduates—the Director General noted that the curriculum incorporated physical conditioning, firearms training, tactical operations, security protocols, incident management, emergency response, and risk assessment. Among the graduates, Kazi Md. Abu Saeed of Cumilla secured first place in firing, Md. Fizur Rahman of Noakhali placed first in drill, and Md. The ceremony concluded with an anti-riot security demonstration conducted under the training supervision of a visiting Turkish Gendarmerie team. The Director General commended the operational readiness of Ansar battalions, Ansar Guard Battalions (AGB), and embodied units in maintaining public order, citing recent professional deployments during labor unrest in Gazipur.
Additional Director General of Bangladesh Ansar and VDP Brigadier General Mamunur Rashid, Academy Commandant (Additional Director General) Md. Saifullah Russell, visiting Turkish training officials, and senior military and civilian officers of the force were present at the event.
