Ansar -VDP basic training for development of marginalized communities inaugurated in Khagrachhari

Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force have taken the initiative to conduct an exceptional and timely training program for 64 young women of different ethnicities in Khagrachari for the empowerment of women and the development of marginalized communities.
This training workshop was organized at the auditorium of Sadar Upazila from June 17.
In the light of the newly formulated syllabus and timely training policies in basic and modern training, the participants are learning skills and leadership development, self-reliance, social awareness - which will help in improving the quality of life in the hilly areas and bringing positive changes in society.
Under the chairmanship of District Commandant Md. Arifur Rahman, the chief guest AHM Mehedi Hasan, Director of Guimara Ansar Battalion, formally inaugurated the training organized using modern techniques.
During the inauguration, Chief Guest Mehedi Hasan said, this training is not just about learning or knowing, it will be an effective tool for women's empowerment. The beginning of a change in perspective. It is opening the door to new possibilities for women in the hill society, Through this training, the hill girls will be transformed into more confident, aware and effective social leaders. In addition, Bangladesh Ansar and VDP are working tirelessly for the development of marginalized and different ethnic groups.
District Commandant Md. Arifur Rahman said, This modern and age-appropriate basic training will develop young women as entrepreneurs, which will have a positive impact on society in the future.
Bangladesh is giving special importance to this initiative of Ansar and Village Defense Force. The role of VDP members in maintaining peace and order in the hilly region is immense.
