Annual sports, cultural competition of youth club establishment project held in Morelganj

The annual sports and cultural competition-2023 of the youth club establishment project under the Directorate of Women Affairs was held at Morelganj of Bagerhat on Tuesday.
The competition was held with the students of the youth clubs of different unions of Morelganj and Sharonkhola in the upazila parishad meeting room organized by the upazila administration and women's affairs department Upazila Nirbahi Officer SM Tarek Sultan presided over the meeting and Upazila Women Affairs Officer Abdul Hai was the chief guest in the meeting. Upazila Parishad Chairman Advocate Shah-e Alam Bachchu was the chief guest.
Among others, Upazila Academic Supervisor was present in the meeting Md. Baki Billah, ICT Officer Trideep Sarkar Upazila Press Club President Md. Abu Saleh Kishore Kishori Club Field Supervisor of Bagerhat Sharmin Sultana, Office Staff Safiqul Islam Also, along Suraiya Akhtar, gender promoter of Morelganj Sadar and upazila union, Anika Bushra, Dolly Halder, Shibani Roy and Shahidul Islam, gender promoter of Sharonkhola upazila, recitation and music teachers of different youth clubs with karate instructors of two upazilas were present In the event, the contestants participated in 5 categories, 100m run, md siam , recitation, Fatema Akhter, music, Tisha Karmakar, drawing and pillow throwing competition Yasa and Barna stood first.
At the end of the event, prizes were awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners and refreshments were distributed to all.
