AL gets 3 seats, independent one in Jhenaidah

In the 12th National Assembly elections, polling in 4 parliamentary constituencies of Jhenaidah has ended peacefully. As a result, Jhenaidah has won 3 constituencies, independent candidates have won 1.
The winners are the current Member of Parliament, Md. Abdul Hai, candidate of boat symbol in Jhenaidah-1 Shailkupa Constituency. He got 95 thousand 674 votes. His closest rival independent candidate Nazrul Islam with truck symbol got 79 thousand 728 votes.
Md Nasser Shahriar Zahedi, an independent candidate with a symbol in Jhenaidah-2 seat, won by getting 1 lakh 36 thousand 778 votes. His nearest rival candidate Tahjeeb Alam Siddiqui with boat symbol got 1 lakh 16 thousand 207 votes.
Md. Salah Uddin Miyaji has won 83 thousand 15 votes with boat symbol in Jhenaidah-3 seat. His closest rival independent candidate Md Shafiqul Azam Khan Chanchal got 64 thousand 909 votes with truck symbol.
Md. Anwarul Azim (Anar), the current member of parliament with the boat symbol in Jhenaidah-4 constituency, won by getting 95 thousand 9'7 votes. His closest rival independent candidate Md Abdur Rashid Khokon got 57 thousand 94 with truck symbol.
