Jamaat Secretary General Professor Mia Golam Parwar said that despite the fascist Awami League government being ousted, its supporters are engaging in various conspiracies to undermine the efforts of the interim government.
Isolated from the people, the Awami League is ramping up its efforts to incite anarchy in the country, he said while speaking at the District Jamaat's Rukon Conference and Sudhi assembly at the District Arts Academy Auditorium on Saturday noon, as the chief guest.
"This shameless party has pushed the nation to the brink of destruction through discrimination and corruption across various sectors, including employment," the Jamaat leader stated.
Addressing the interim government, Secretary General Golam Parwar stated that it should step down honorably after facilitating a free and participatory election.
Jamaat's District Ameer and Central Majlis Shura Member Advocate Ataur Rahman Bachchu presided over the Rukon Conference.
Other speakers included Jamaat district secretary and former vice-chairman of Narail Sadar Upazila Parishad Maulana Md Obaidullah Qaiser, former district Ameer Maulana Mirza Ashek Elahi, and Jamaat leaders Md Ayub Hossain Khan, Md Alamgir Hossain, and district president of Chhatra Shibir Md Mehedi Hasan.
