Agrani Bank hosts Bangla QR campaign in Mymensingh to promote cashless banking

As part of the ongoing initiatives to build a 'Cashless Bangladesh', Agrani Bank PLC organized a campaign meeting on the implementation and expansion of 'Bangla QR' today at its Mymensingh branch premises.on Wednesday.
The meeting, held at 11:00 AM, was chaired by Mohammad Abul Kalam Azad, Deputy General Manager and Regional Head of Agrani Bank PLC Mymensingh. Md. Abu Bakar Siddique, Additional Director of Bangladesh Bank, attended the event as the chief guest to emphasize the central bank's vision for digital financial inclusion.
Agrani Bank PLC Circle Secretariat Deputy General Managers Hosne Ara Khanam and Md. Ayub Ali were present as special guests. The speakers discussed the security, efficiency, and simplicity of using Bangla QR codes for low-cost retail transactions, urging both small traders and consumers to adopt the technology.
Following the discussion, a colorful rally was brought out at the bank's premises in the city's Chhota Bazar area to raise public awareness about digital payments.
