Administration demolishes illegal sand extraction point in Shibganj

The upazila administration conducted a mobile court operation and demolished the illegal sand extraction point in Shibganj Bogura.
On Tuesday afternoon, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Tasnimuzzaman conducted the operation of the mobile court in the Karatoa River in North Shyampur Purbapara of Shibganj Sadar Union of Upazila.
Meanwhile, the illegal sand lifting equipment was demolished and the sand lifting machine was seized.
In this regard, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Tasnimuzzaman said, such operation will continue in public interest.
It is noted that Hafizar, the son of deceased Shamsul Haque of North Shyampur Purpurpara, has been extracting sand from here illegally for a long time. Upazila administration raided it today and destroyed it.
