Accused Jiner Badsha arrested in Gobindaganj

Gaibandhar's Gobindaganj Police conducted a raid and arrested the accused Jiner Badsha Mosharof Hossain Masha (50). He is the son of Bablu Mia of Bishubari village of Darbast union of the upazila.
He was arrested by the Gobindganj Police Station from Char Chakarhimapur area of Kartoa River in Darbast UP on Thursday midnight. He had been on the run for 12 years after leaving his family in fear of a six-year sentence.
According to police sources, based on secret information, a group of police under the leadership of Gobindaganj Police Station Second Officer SI Praloy Kumar Barman arrested Hikamosharaf Hossain Masha in the inaccessible Char Chakarhimapur area of Karatoa river in Darbast UP. Mosharraf Hossain Masha was an accused in 2012 Sirajganj district Jiner Badsha fraud case No. GR-508/12 (Siraj).
In that case, the judge of Chief Judicial Magistrate Court of Sirajganj District sentenced the accused Mosharraf to 6 years for fraud. Accused Mosharraf Hossain was absconding after the verdict was announced. 3 more cases are pending against the accused.
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Gobindganj police station Shamsul Alam Shah said that the convicted accused Mosharraf will be challaned in court tomorrow.
