Abu Ashfaq MP lays foundation stone of Freedom Fighters Memorial in Dohar

After 55 years of independence, a Freedom Fighters' Memorial is being built in Dohar , Dhaka. But even after all these years, the anti-independence force Jamaat and its allies have not been able to forget the sorrow of the Liberation War.
That is why this group is repeatedly trying to drag the country back by smelling conspiracy in words.
Dhaka District BNP President and Dhaka-1 (Dohar Nawabganj) MP Khandaker Abu Ashfaq said this while inaugurating the foundation stone of the memorial in Dhaka's Dohar Upazila on Sunday afternoon.
It is learned that the cost of constructing the memorial, initiated by the Dohar Municipality, has been set at 2.8 million taka.
This construction work is starting under the close supervision of UNO and Municipal Administrator Md. Maidul Islam.
Why is the construction of the Independence Memorial inaugurated after so many years after the inauguration ceremony ?
In response to a question from journalists, MP Khandaker Abu Ashfaq said, "A group is still crying for independence. They are still desperate to subjugate the country by loving Pakistan. Those who killed people and robbed the honor of mothers and sisters in 1971 have not stopped yet. This group, known as extremists, is constantly hindering the development and prosperity of the country. They are still setting fire to various important establishments in their old demonic ways like in 1971. The people who are carriers of non-communal consciousness must unite and save the victory of the great liberation war of 1971 and Bangladesh."
At this time, he called on everyone to build a social movement against drug terrorism and sand bandits in every area of Nawabganj, Doha. Respecting the freedom fighters, he said that everyone should work together to keep their memory alive, whose lives and labors were exchanged for this freedom. Respect the freedom fighters and boycott the anti-independence forces. Young and educated people should come forward with this slogan. They should be informed about this so that the youth do not suffer from any confusion.

Nazrul Islam Mecher, General Secretary Masud Parvez, Dhaka District Jubo Dal Senior Vice President Abul Hashem Bepari, BNP leaders Fazlul Haque, Osmangani Rumo, Sentu Bhuiyan, Jubo Dal leaders Zahirul Islam, Shipon Ahmed and others.
