7th Hill Poetry Literary Festival held in Rangamati

The Parbatya Kabya Literary Festival 2025 was held in Rangamati. Poet Mahmudul Hasan Nizami, a researcher and editor of the daily Desh Jagat, was present as the main discussant at the literary festival organized at the Rangamati Sadar Upazila Auditorium on Friday.

National Film Award-winning novelist Dr. Azad Bulbul, poet and journalist Omar Kaisay, poet and musician Palak Rahman, storyteller and musician Lizzie Ahmed, and retired District Cultural Officer of Rangamati Shilpakala Academy Mujibul Haque Bulbul were present as special guests at the event.

In addition, Rezaul Karim, Member Secretary of the 7th Hill Poetry and Literature Festival Celebration Committee, Malay Tripura Kishore, Convener of the 7th Hill Poetry and Literature Festival Celebration Committee, Roksana Sukhi, Advisor of the 7th Hill Poetry and Literature Festival Celebration Committee, and poets and writers from different districts of the country participated in the program.

Speakers at the event said that the world is so beautiful because of the presence of poets and writers. By reading their writings, people develop their latent thoughts. The world of human thought expands.
