A class 6 school girl has allegedly been raped in Bhuapur. The incident took place in Gobindasi area of the upazila on Monday from 4 pm to 9 pm.

She was taken and raped in a corner behind Govindasi Government Primary School of the upazila. The girl is a student of Gobindasi High School. In this incident, the rapist Sultan Mia (24) and his accomplice Nurnabi (22) were arrested and handed over to the police.

According to the girl's family sources, she went to school at around 1 o'clock on Monday afternoon. The girl goes to Govindasi market after school break after 4 pm to repair the watch. On the way back from there, the scoundrel Sultan forcibly cornered Govindasi Government Primary School Assistant Teacher Alam Master's private teaching room and forcibly raped her. Later, at 9 o'clock in the night, when he was brought to the public, the locals saved him and brought him home. But the rapist and his accomplice escaped.

The girl's father said that my daughter goes to school around 1 pm. As he did not return home from school around 4 pm, I searched many places. I got worried after finding somewhere. Later around 9 pm my nephew returned home with the help of his friend.

Later I got to know from him that with the help of Nurnabi, son of Hashen Sheikh of Char Alloa Amtala area, he was brutally tortured by Sultan Mia, son of Abdur Rashid of Gobindasi Purvapara village. He also said - I demand appropriate punishment for those who have inhumanely tortured my daughter.

Bhuapur police station OC Ahsan Ullah said that two people have been arrested in this incident. The girl will be sent to Tangail General Hospital for physical examination. A case is being prepared in this incident.
