6 people from Cumilla died in the capital's Bailey Road fire. Among them, mother-daughter Lutfun Nahar and her daughter Jannatul Tajri of Brahmanpara upazila, their two sisters Fauzia Afrin Ria and Sadia Afrin Alisha of Charbari area of Lalmai upazila, their cousin Nusrat Jahan Nimu of Hatigara area of Sadar upazila, housewife Pampa Poddar of Muradnagar upazila.

Among them, Fauzia Afrin Riya, who lived in Malaysia for studies, came to the country for vacation. The remaining 5 people live in Dhaka. Meanwhile, the death toll has risen to 46 in a building fire in the capital's Bailey Road. After identification of the deceased, the bodies have been handed over to the relatives. Among the 46 bodies, 41 were identified. Among them, the bodies of 39 people were handed over. Besides, it is said that the bodies of the remaining six people have been kept in the Dhaka Medical College morgue.

According to family sources of the victims of Charbari area of Lalmai Upazila, there was a flight to Malaysia on the night of March 1. So the previous day on February 29, he took his sisters to shopping. He is supposed to return after meeting his cousin and aunt. My two mothers went there and never returned. Before leaving, father said we will return soon. Korban Ali cried saying this. His daughters Fauzia Afrin Riya and Sadia Afrin Alisha were killed in the Bailey Road fire. Their cousin Nusrat Jahan Nimu was also killed. Their dead bodies were brought to the village house in Cumilla.

It is known that both of them are daughters of Haji Korban Ali of Charbaria area of Perul South Union of Lalmai Upazila of Cumilla . Fauzia Afrin Riya is a final year MBA student in a university in Malaysia. And Sadia Afrin Alisha is an eighth grade student of Vikarunnisa Noon School in Dhaka. Riya and Alisha's cousin Nusrat Jahan Nimu died in the same incident. Nimu is the daughter of Abdul Quddus of Hatigara area of Sadar Upazila and a student of Dhaka City College.They went shopping together. In the meantime, my brother will eat at the restaurant.

Korban Ali, the father of the victims, said that they came to the area in the second week of February. He left home for a few days. We were supposed to go to Malaysia on Friday (March 1) night. Tickets were also bought. But he died last night. Nimu is also their cousin. He went at the same time and did not return. Again he used to study from Kakrail's house. My house was full of joy. Today my house is empty. The three sisters are buried in the family graveyard at their village home in Cumilla.

Lutfun Nahar, a senior teacher of Vikarunnessa Noon School and College and her daughter Jannatul Tajri died in the fire in the building of Kacchi Bhai Restaurant on Bailey Road in the capital. Lutfun Nahar is the wife of Khokon Mia of Kandughar village in Madhavpur union of Brahmanpara upazila and Jannatul Tajri is her daughter.

According to family sources, Lutfun Nahar and his daughter Jannatul Tajri went to Kacchi Bhai Restaurant for dinner on February 29 at 9 pm. Later, the family heard the news of the fire and went to Bailey Road to inquire and found them dead in the hospital.

Meanwhile, Pampa Poddar (46) was killed in the Bailey Road fire while bringing dinner for two girls. She is the wife of Jayant Poddar of Nabipur village in Muradnagar upazila of Cumilla.

He would occasionally visit the village house for religious worship or social rituals. It is said that he came to Nabipur village three days ago. On Saturday, when the eldest daughter comes home from Canada, a decision will be made in Dhaka, or Pampa Poddar's body will be cremated in Nabipur, the village home.

It is known that Jayant Poddar of Nabipur village lives in Dhaka with his family. He owns a private audit firm. His wife Pampa Poddar is a housewife. On Thursday night, two girls staying at Pompa Podda's house were burnt to death while bringing dinner from 'Kacchi Bhai' restaurant on Bailey Road. The couple has three daughters. Elder daughter Pragya Poddar (25) is studying in Canada. Elder daughter Shreya Poddar (17) and younger daughter Shrestha Poddar (12) study in Dhaka.
