5 members arrested while preparing for robbery in Bhuapur

Bhuapur Thana Police arrested 5 active members of inter-district dacoit gang with indigenous weapons while preparing for robbery in Tangail's Bhuapur.
They were arrested from near Sialkol Government Primary School in Paur town of the upazila at midnight on Saturday (October 4).
Bhuapur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Ahsan Ullah confirmed this information on Sunday (October 5) afternoon. The arrested are Md. Anwar Hossain (37), son of Abdul Majid Sarkar of East Bhuapur village of the upazila, Md. Abu Raihan Roni (27), son of Abdur Razzak. Md Mizanur Rahman (35) son of deceased Lal Mia of Birhati village, Md Rafiq Bepari (36) son of Md Anand Bepari of Ghatandi village and Md Khalilur Rahman Khan (38) son of deceased Bachchu Khan of Nalin village of Gopalpur upazila of the district. OC) Md. Ahsan Ullah said that the five robbers were arrested from the side of Sialkol Primary School in Bhuapur city on the basis of secret information when the arrested were preparing for robbery with domestic weapons. They are said to be active members of inter-district gangs. Sent to jail by Tangail court on Sunday morning.
