Sylhet Women's Chamber of Commerce and Industry and with the support of SME Foundation concluded a 5-day multi-purpose jute product manufacturing training. Certificates were distributed among 30 entrepreneurs at the end of this day-long training at the Sylhet Women's Chamber office on Wednesday.

Sylhet Metropolitan Police Commissioner Ilias Sharif, BPM (Bar) PPM, speaking as the chief guest at the event,

He said that women entrepreneurs are encouraged to make products using local raw materials. He also said that the women of Sylhet have been gaining fame in various fields including education, art and literature for ages. They are our role models. So it is certain that many entrepreneurs of Sylhet have gained fame in different parts of the world through their products. He expressed hope to support women entrepreneurs in any need including security.

President of Sylhet Women's Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Director of SME Foundation Swarnlata Roy said in the President's speech, Sylhet Women's Chamber provides training to around 500 entrepreneurs throughout the year. As a result of this, women entrepreneurs in all of Sylhet are successful today. In the future, the women entrepreneurs of Sylhet wish for everyone's cooperation so that they can move forward.

President of Sylhet Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tahmin Ahmad was present as a special guest in the program under the direction of Radia Islam. At the beginning of the program, Lubana Yasmin of Sylhet Women's Chamber delivered the welcome address.
