The 44th founding anniversary of Krishak Dal was celebrated in Khagrachari with a coloirful rally.
On Wednesday noon, after hoisting the national and party flags at the organization's district office, a colorful procession started from Millat Chattar.
The rally circled the main road of the city and laid wreaths at the memorial statue of martyred President Ziaur Rahman. Later, the leaders and activists of the organization gathered at a rally organized in front of the party office.
The rally was organized under the chairmanship of Khagrachari District Krishak Dal President Pardarshi Barua, and Khagrachari District BNP Vice President Pravin Chandra Chakma was the chief guest.
The speakers at the rally said, "During the 15-year rule of the fascist Awami League government, it broke the backbone of the farmers by destroying the agricultural sector. By creating an unstable situation across the country, all our leaders and activists have been subjected to cases and attacks, and its workers and law enforcement agencies have made them victims of brutal killings and brutal torture. On August 5, through the mass uprising of the students, the people of Bangladesh were freed from the tyranny of tyranny.
