4 injured in vandalism, looting following enmity, complaint filed at police station

A house in Louhjang was vandalized due to a previous enmity, injuring a mother, daughter and two sons. The miscreants stole cash and a mobile phone.On Tuesday (April 1st) at 8:30 am, they attacked house in Karpasha village of Haldia union of Louhajang upazila and beat and injured all of our family members with various types of sticks, rods, hammers. The miscreants attacked and injured the wife of the deceased Amir Hossain, Amena Begum, sons Aminul Islam Amin (26), Abu Tauhid Sheikh (14) and Sadia Akhter (20) and later admitted them to Louhajang Upazila Health Complex for treatment with the help of the people of the area. They are accused of snatching 10,000 taka in cash and a mobile phone. They threatened to kill and intimidate. A written complaint has been filed with Louhajang police station against 17 attackers.On the ground, it was seen that the house of the late Amir Hossain Sheikh of Karpasha village of Haldia union was vandalized and the injured Aminul Islam Amin (26), Abu Towhid Sheikh (14), Sadia Akhter (20) and Amena Begum (50) were all found with minor injuries in various places. The eldest son Aminul Islam is undergoing treatment at the Louhjang Health Complex.Injured Aminul Islam Amin said, "We cultivated rice on our own 84-hundred-acre land. While we were watering the rice fields, I and two friends were sitting on the paved area of the abandoned chicken farm and watching our mobile phones. Then suddenly someone questioned me and I introduced myself. I had no idea that they were beating me randomly with sticks based on my previous enmity, just because I was sitting on the spot. I can't even tell who is taking me to the hospital."Abu Tawhid Sheikh (14) said, "They gave me a house in my hand. I can't tell you what happened next. Later, I saw that I had bruises and swelling in various places. I couldn't move my body."Sadia Akhter (20) said, "I went to record a video on my mobile phone while my brother was being attacked, and the way they dragged me out of the house and hit me in the places is not something anyone should be shown. I demand a fair trial from the administration for the torture I and my family have been subjected to."
Aminul Islam's mother Amena Begum (50) said, "Due to a previous enmity, they came to my house, vandalized the house, dragged the boy and girl out of the house, and beat them with sticks and hammers. Many locals saw them and if they had not heard the screams, they would have killed my son. With the help of all of them, I was able to reach the hospital." She also said that they have been threatening us in various ways at our house for the past two days. I have informed the Louhajang police station about this.The truth of the incident has been received from various people in the area. Some have said that if they had done anything wrong, they could have informed us. It is wrong to attack, vandalize and beat them while running away from home. If they had died, who would have taken the responsibility? They expressed regret for such an incident. Md. Sayid Lyon, a doctor working at the Louhajang Health Complex, said, "I am on duty as an emergency medical officer. Aminul Islam Amin (26) is in a physical condition that is not suitable for him to be sent home at the moment. He is unable to walk alone and has vomiting problems, due to which we have admitted him to our health complex. The investigating officer of Louhajang Police Station, Moniruzzaman Monir, said that he received the complaint and went to investigate. He found sticks, partially broken wood, and doors and windows were vandalized.
