36th death anniv of Dr Zahed to be observed today

The 36th death anniversary of Dr. Md. Zahed, a renowned physician of Faridpur and founder of Dr. Md. Zahed Memorial Children's Hospital—one of the premier child healthcare centers in the southern region—is being observed on Wednesday (September 2).
Marking his death anniversary, various programs have been chalked out. Following Fajr prayers, a Khatam of the Holy Quran, Khatam of Kalima Sharif, milad, and doa mahfil were held at the mosque of the Faridpur Muslim Mission Orphanage. At 7:00 AM, a ziyarat, doa, and munajat were offered at his grave in the Alipur graveyard.
Additionally, high-quality food will be served to the admitted patients at Dr. Md. Zahed Memorial Children's Hospital at noon. After Asr prayers, a milad and doa mahfil will be held on the hospital premises seeking eternal peace for his departed soul.
Dr. Md. Zahed was the visionary founder of numerous esteemed institutions in the district, including the Faridpur Diabetic Hospital, Faridpur Eye Hospital, and the Faridpur Muslim Mission, among others.
