In a pharmacy in Bhola's Lalmohan Daori Bazar, a 3-year-old child's fingers were destroyed by a pharmacy trader due to wrong treatment. The child's fingers rotted due to improper stitching. Finally, the child was admitted to a hospital in Dhaka. There the child's fingers had to be amputated.

Bashir, the father of the child, said that he drives a car in Dhaka. He lives in his house in Badarpur Union with his wife and children. Last month they visited Hojaifa's house in Kalma Torabganj area.

There, on October 28, Hozaifa cut off the middle finger of his right hand while playing. Later, the child's grandmother, Fatema Begum, quickly took him to a medicine shop called 'Seba Health Care Center' in Daori Bazar. That shop belongs to Nazrul Islam Talukdar.

He is a former Deputy Assistant Community Medical Officer. When brought to him, he sews up the child's fingers with fine thread and assures them that they will get better. But after a few days, when the child felt pain in his fingers, he was taken to Lalmohan Upazila Health Complex.

There, the doctor in the emergency department said that the child's fingers were not stitched properly and suggested to amputate the child's fingers. Later, Hojaifa's father Bashir admitted the child to Dhaka Green Life Medical College Hospital. There, the doctor said that due to wrong stitching with cut thread, the fingers have rotted.

The blood flow to the finger is stopped. After being admitted to the hospital, half of the fingers had to be amputated, said Bashir, the child's father. Hozaifa is currently under treatment in that hospital. He said that lakhs of rupees have been spent on his treatment.

The child's grandmother, Fatema Begum, complained that Dr. Nazrul Angul of Daori Bazar had damaged her grandson by wrongly treating her. He wants justice.

When Nazrul Islam asked about this, he hung up saying that the decision had been made.
