3 people die in separate incidents in Goalando

Three people, including a child, died in separate incidents in Goalando, Rajbari on Saturday.
The deceased are: Md. Siam (11), a student of Hafiziya Madrasa in Elail Furkania, son of Joynal Mandal, resident of Char Barat area of Chhota Bhakla Union in Goalanda Upazila, hanged himself, Akkas Ali Sheikh (63), son of the late Khorshed Ali Sheikh, resident of Ward No. 4 of Goalanda Municipality, died of cardiac arrest while trying to save his son from a fight, and Moslem Pramanik (65), son of the late Haider Pramanik, resident of Idris Mia Para village in Daulatdia, died of a stroke while fishing in the river.
According to local and police station sources, the child Md. Siam (11) committed suicide by hanging himself with a rope from the cowshed of Choto Bhakla Char Barat Joynal Mandal in the upazila due to his parents not going to the madrasa. On the other hand, while trying to stop a fight with the people of the neighboring house over the stench of the quail farm in Akkas Ali's house located in Ward No. 4 of Goalanda Municipality, he fell down and fell seriously ill and died at the Goalando Upazila Health Complex. On Friday, Moslem Pramanik (65), a resident of Daulatdia Idris Para, went to fish in the Padma River near the Daulatdia Launch Ghat. He did not return home that day. It is believed that he died of a stroke on Saturday at around 9 am, the Daulatdia Naval Police Outpost recovered his body from the Launch Ghat area of the Padma River. Family and locals said he had suffered two strokes before.
In this regard, Daulatdia Naval Police Outpost In-charge Md. Enamul Haque said that fisherman Moslem Pramanik was already a stroke patient. And he was also physically ill. He fell ill while fishing and died in the river. Since there was no complaint in this regard, the body has been handed over to the family.
Goalando Ghat Police Station OC Mohammad Rakibul Islam said, the child Siam hanged himself to death after being disrespectful to his parents. Since there was no complaint from his family in this regard, the body has been handed over to the family.
