3 drug dealers arrested with 50 kg of ganja in Sirajganj

The members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-12) arrested three drug dealers along with 50 and a half kg of ganja in an anti-drug operation in Sirajganj. At this time, a pickup used for the purpose of buying and selling drugs was seized (April 7). Around 10:30 pm on Sunday, they were arrested in front of the Aristocrat Hotel of Solanga police station in the district.
The arrested accused are-Dr. Roshan Ali son of Deushpara village of Brahmanpara police station of Comilla district. Swapan Mia (52), died in Kalpabas village of the same area. Malek's son. Abu Taher (45) and son of deceased Jinu Mia of Ujanisa village of B Baria Sadar police station of B Baria district.Ibrahim Miah (36).
Sirajganj RAB-12 Sadar Company Commander Mohammad Ilyas Khan (April 8) told reporters in a press release on Monday afternoon. Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-12) conducted an anti-narcotics operation on the cobbled road in front of the Aristocrat Hotel in Solanga police station at around 10:30 pm on Sunday. 3 drug dealers were arrested with 50.5 kg of ganja.
Also, 1 pickup, 3 mobile phones and cash of 4 thousand 465 taka were seized with them.
He also said that the initial interrogation of the drug dealers revealed that the accused have been buying and selling narcotic ganja for a long time in various districts of the country including Sirajganj district. A case under the Narcotics Act has been registered against the arrested accused at Salanga police station.
