3 AL leaders arrested in Fulbari

Police arrested three Awami League and Jubo League leaders along with Abdullahlel Bakhi Khandaker (59) the vice-president of Fulbari Upazila Awami League of Kurigram and Principal of Kashipur Degree College of Upazila.
The three arrested men were sent to Kurigram jail on Saturday in the court.
Earlier on Friday (31January), Assistant Police Superintendent (Nageshwari Circle) said. They were arrested on a separate operation led by Mozammel Haque.
The arrested Abdullah is the son of the Late Abul Hossain Khandaker of Barolai village of Khandaker upazilaThe other two arrested are Vice-President of Baravita Union Awami League and Kabindranath Chakraborty, Vice-President of Baravita Sener khamar, and Fulbari Upazila Jubo League leader, Nurul Islam, son of Nurul Islam of the upazila.
Fulbari Police Station Officer -in -Charge (OC) Mamunur Rashid said that after the departure of Sheikh Hasina Baki Khandakar and others had been in the throes for a long time.
On Friday night, they were arrested on the basis of secret news that they returned to the area. Later, on August 4 the student procession at Fulbari was arrested in a case filed in the case of looting and firing.
