2nd round blockade: 12 buses set on fire in 12 hrs

The 48-hour blockade of the main opposition BNP and its ally Jamaat-e-Islami started on Sunday morning.
Centering the programme, 12 arson attack incidents on buses across the country from 7pm on Saturday to 6:30am on Sunday were reported.
Of those, seven buses were torched in Dhaka, two in Naryanagnj and Gazipur and three others in Sirajganj, Barishal's Charfesson upazila and Rangpur respectively.
Besides, an arson attack on a Awami League office was reported.
Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters's media cell officer Talha Bin Jashim confirmed this on Sunday morning.
The BNP and Jamaat jointly called the blockade to press home their one-point demand for resignation of the Awami League government.
