27th years of 'Bandhan' celebrated

The 27th anniversary of voluntary blood donor organization 'Bandhan' has been celebrated. On this occasion on Thursday.
A colourful rally was taken out from Dhaka University Student-Teacher Center to the campus. Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmad Khan was present as the chief guest and inaugurated the rally by cutting the anniversary cake and blowing balloons.
Bandhan Foundation President Rakib Ahmed, Bandhan Central Council President Shamim Gazi and General Secretary Shakeel Ahmed, Bandhan Dhaka University Zone President Sharif Ahmed and General Secretary Md. Leaders of various zones including Noor Uddin participated in the rally.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmad Khan said, Bandhan members have set a unique example in the society by conducting various service activities including voluntary blood donation program. The Vice-Chancellor appealed to all to come forward in the service of humanity by following this example of Bandhan.
It should be noted that 'Bandhan' established in Dhaka University has been working in the service of humanity since 1997. Voluntary blood donation program of this organization is being conducted from 78 educational institutions in 54 districts of the country.
