25 days jail for 10 Bangladeshi youths arrested by BSF while roaming in Paush Mela

10 Bangladeshi youths were arrested by the BSF while traveling to Paushmela in the Indian state of Tripura from Atarkachra Union of Longadu Upazila of Rangamati and were jailed for 25 days.
Detained 10 people are Md. Ismail, Abdus Salam, Md. Suman, Md. Belal, Md. Shamsuddin, Abdul Jalil, Al Amin, Md. Sohel, Md. Hasan, and Md. Rabiul.
All of them are residents of Atarkachra Union of Longadu Upazila of Rangamati.
After their arrest, they were produced in an Indian court. Meanwhile, the court sentenced each of them to 25 days in jail according to Indian law for illegal entry.
It is known that every year, many Bangladeshi people cross the hilly forest through Panchari of Khagrachari district to visit Paushmela in Tripura state illegally. They went for a walk as always.
Ajay Mitra Chakma, chairman of Attarkachara Union Parishad, said that on January 13, 10 youths of my union were detained by the Indian Border Guard Force (BSF) and handed over to the police on charges of infiltration into India. Later the Indian court sentenced them to 25 days in jail.
