
22 more pushed-In by BSF at Chunarughat border, two injured

Indian BSF has pushed-in 22 people through the Rema-Kalenga forest area on the Chunarughat border.
The information has been confirmed by Habibur Rahman, Assistant Director of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), Habiganj 55 Battalion.
On Friday early morning (May 30), at some point, the Indian BSF pushed them through the Kalenga border. Through the Debrabari point of Rema BOP, under the responsibility of BGB, 22 citizens (09 men, 08 women, and 05 children) were pushed into Bangladesh. Upon receiving the news, a BGB patrol team rushed to the scene and detained them. Currently, interrogation, identity verification, and other legal procedures are underway.
In this regard, local UP member Khalilur Rahman said, "We received the news at dawn that BSF had pushed in 22 people. Immediately, we informed the BGB. On receiving the news, BGB members went to the spot and kept them in a house belonging to an indigenous community. Due to inclement weather, their clothes were soaked, and it is reported that two of them were seriously injured."
At the time of writing this report, they were being kept in the jungle at a Tripura tribal house. Chunarughat Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mohammad Robin Mia said, "I have heard about the pushing-in of 22 people and have instructed necessary actions to be taken."
