
2 killed, 4 injured in bus-CNG collision in Rangamati

Two people were killed in a head-on collision between a bus and a CNG-powered auto-rickshaw in Rangamati. Four others were injured in this incident.
The accident took place on Saturday (November 4) at noon in the Bhedvedi area of the district town. The deceased were auto-rickshaw driver Pintu Chakma (22) and Garmila Chakma (45).
Officer-in-Charge of Rangamati Kotyali Police Station Ariful Amin confirmed the truth of the incident.
Dr. Shaukat Akbar, resident doctor of Rangamati Sadar Hospital, said that when the injured were brought to the hospital in the bus-CNG auto-rickshaw collision, the doctors on duty provided them with medical care. Two people were brought dead to the hospital. Four people are seriously injured. The injured are being treated. One of them had his leg completely severed.
