2 college students killed in Tangail as truck rams bike

Two college students were killed after their motorcycle being hit by a truck in Tangail's Nagarpur upazila on Sunday morning.
The accident happened at Kederpur area on the Sheikh Hasina Bridge around 7am.
The deceased were identified as Shakil Ahmed, 19, son of Omar Setab Ali; and Masum Ali, 19, son of Adam Ali. Both were the students of first year at Kalushah Degree College.
Shakil and Masun were going to college by a motorbike in the morning. On the way, a running truck smashed their bike on the bridge, leaving the duo dead on the spot, said Nagarpur Police Station SI Motasir Billah quoting the eye witnesses.
He said the truck was seized. The accident might have happened due to dense fog.
