19 candidates submitted their nomination papers for two constituencies in Joypurhat

In the 12th parliamentary elections, 19 nomination papers have been submitted till Thursday in two constituencies of Joypurhat. Jaipurhat-1 seat received the most nomination papers, total 10 and Jaipurhat-2 seat received 9 nomination papers.
According to sources from the office of the Jaipurhat District Returning Officer, the present member of Parliament, Adv. Apart from Samchul Alam Dudu, former general secretary of Sadar Upazila Awami League Zahurul Islam, former president of district Awami League Abdul Aziz Mollah, K.M. Raihan Mandal Manu, Aleya Begum, Rani Rabeya Asri, Jatiya Party's AKM Moazzem Hossain, Trinamool BNP's Md. Masum, National People's Party. Rukunuzzaman and Jasder Abul Khair Md. Sakhawat Hossain.
Present Member of Parliament and heavyweight candidate Abu Saeed Al Mawami has submitted nomination papers for the Jaipurhat-2 constituency. Jatiya Party's Abu Saeed Nurullah Masum, National People's Party's Abu Saeed, Jasder Abul Khair have submitted nomination papers among others. Sakhawat Hossain, Zaker Party Md. Golam Rasul, Bangladesh Congress. Nayan, independent candidate. Atwar Rahman and Abdur Razzak Sardar.
Joypurhat District Returning Officer and Deputy Commissioner Salehin Tanveer Gazi said, 10 nominations have been received in Joypurhat-1 seat. Among them, 5 from different political parties and 5 from independent parties.
A total of 9 nomination papers have been submitted in Joypurhat-2 constituency, including 3 separate ones.
