11 arrested on various charges in Rajshahi city

A total of 11 people have been arrested on various charges in a drive by Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) police station and DB police on Saturday.
Rajshahi Metropolitan Police conducted drives in various places in the metropolis and arrested one person on charges of attacking the anti-discrimination student movement, causing explosions and terrorist activities, one person in a drug case, 6 people in other crimes and 3 people with warrants.
Awami League activist Khandaker Mustakimul Islam (38), who was arrested on charges of sabotage and terrorist activities, is the son of Khandaker Munsurul Islam of Hosniganj area of Boalia Model Police Station in Rajshahi metropolis.
Legal action has been taken against the arrested accused.
