Teacher, students only on papers in Sapahar madrasa. alleged

It is alleged that there are twice as many teachers as students at the Karmudanga Joakia Dakhil Madrasa in Sapahar, Naogaon.
Based on secret information, on Tuesday afternoon, (September 1) when I went to the institution, I saw that only four students were being taught by one teacher in the tenth grade, and there were no students in the rest of the classrooms.
Although there were hundreds of students on paper, there was no match in reality. There were 8 to 10 students in the institution while 15 teachers were teaching. There were teachers, there were classrooms, but only students.
According to the information given by the head of the institution, Super Mozammel Haque, the number of students from sixth to tenth grades on paper was 299, of which 58 were male and 14 were female in the sixth grade, 37 were male and 7 were female in the seventh grade, and 46 were male and 13 were female in the eighth grade. 46 were male and 9 were female in the ninth grade, and 60 were male and 9 were female in the tenth grade, which is not in line with reality.
Locals close to the madrasa said that despite the absence of students in the madrasa, the teachers are collecting their salaries month after month without trying to recruit students. The salary of 15 teachers and 5 employees is 4,81,856/- per month.
They are not just eating on government money, they are destroying an institution. It is also known that the Alem branch in the madrasa was approved in 2001, but it has no activities.
In this regard, the superintendent of the madrasa, Mozammel Haque, said that it was suspended due to unsatisfactory results. Regarding the absence of students, he said that there are students in our institution but they leave after a few classes and do not come back, many leave during the tiffin period, many take leave on various pretexts.
When contacted on mobile phone, Secondary Education Officer Shamsul Kabir did not answer the call.
