Ministry firmly committed to delivering fair, impartial local govt elections Dr Moin Khan

BNP Standing Committee Member and Minister for Local Governmen Rural Development and Cooperatives Dr. Abdul Moin Khan said he wants to fulfill the government's important responsibility through fair local government elections.
Announcing the upcoming local government elections at five levels, the minister said, "The ministry is firmly committed to providing us with fair and impartial local government elections."
The minister made these remarks while speaking as the chief guest at a discussion meeting organized by Narsingdi District BNP on the occasion of BNP's 48th founding anniversary on Friday afternoon.
The Local Government Minister said, "We want to properly fulfill the responsibilities of this ministry, starting from city corporations, municipalities to upazilas and union councils. Our ministry is firmly committed to providing a fair and impartial election to the rural population of Bangladesh, as well as the people of the city corporations. Insha Allah, I seek your cooperation, your help, and all your best wishes so that I can properly fulfill the important responsibility that the Honorable Prime Minister has entrusted to me. I seek your prayers."
Stating that Bangladesh must be rebuilt from the ruins it was destroyed in the past 17 years, he said, "The important responsibility that has been given to me has two aspects: one is to build the infrastructure of the entire Bangladesh and the local government, and to ensure the development of the backward communities of Bangladesh who live in rural areas."
District BNP President Khairul Kabir Khokon MP presided over the meeting held at the Narsingdi Loom Board Institute Auditorium.
District BNP General Secretary and MP from Narsingdi 3 (Shibpur) constituency Manjur Elahi, MP from Narsingdi-5 (Raipura) constituency Ashraf Uddin Bakul, MP from reserved women's seat Add, Shirin Sultana, and Zilla Parishad Administrator Bir Muktijoddha Tofazzal Hossain Master addressed the meeting as special guests.
