Anti-drug human chain held at Bhurungamari

An anti-drug human chain was held in Bhurungamari, Kurigram under the theme: "To save family, society and country, we must stop drugs together." The human chain was held for about two hours in the Bangasonahat Bazar area of the upazila on Tuesday afternoon.
The people of Bangasonahat Union of the upazila organized this human chain. Kurigram-1 constituency MP Anwarul Islam recited the oath of the people who formed the human chain to stop the invasion of drugs. At the time, he said, "We want to build a social movement against drugs with everyone."
The speakers in the human chain said that drugs can be found in Bangasonahat Union by raising their hands. The spread of drugs is destroying teenagers, young people and the youth. Drug users are getting involved in various misdeeds. Unrest and chaos are increasing in families, society and unions.
Drugs cannot be eradicated if drug dealers cannot be brought under the law. The human chain demanded strict legal action against drug dealers..
