‘Tiner Talowar’ at Mahila Samity on Saturday

Theatre troupe Prangonemor to stage their new production titled “Tiner Talowar” at Bangladesh Mahila Samity in the capital’s Baily Road this evening.
Based on Utpal Dutt’s popular play “Tiner Talowar”, Ananta Hira has directed it.
According to the director, the play is the weapon of theatre workers and their ongoing battle. “Tiner Talowar” is a drama within a drama. The play depicts a person’s attempt to become a human, become an artiste.
The cast of the play includes Ananta Hira, Awal Reza, Sobuktogin Suvo, Shimanto Amin, Moshiur Rahman, Sujoy Gupta, Shishir Chowdhury, Mofazzal, Badhan Sarker, Sahed Sarker, Gulshan Bohni, Toma Hossain, Fahim Muntasir and others.
Fayez Zahir has designed the stage, while Thandu Raihan Joy has designed lights. The music for the play is done by Shishir Rahman. Nuna Afroz has designed the dress for the play.
Prangonemor premiered the play “Tiner Talowar” on the occasion of Pahela Baishakh (14 April) at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy.
