Eid is like a celebration of Shakib Khan’s films for movie goers. This scenario has been going on for the last few years. The upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr will not be different. The Dhallywood superstar is coming with new surprises in the Himel Ashraf-directed movie “Rajkumar”.

Not only Bangladesh, Shakib-starrer “Rajkumar” will be released in different countries of the world. The promotion for the movie will begin with the trailer launching in Burj Khalifa, Dubai, on 28 March on Shakib Khan’s birthday.

This was disclosed at a get together of ‘Rajkumar’ team and cine journalists held at Gulshan Club in the capital on Wednesday. Cast and crew of the film, including Shakib Khan, Himel Asharaf and Arshad Adnan were present on the occasion.

At the programme, producer of the film Arshad Adnan said, “We want to start the promotion for ‘Rajkumar’ from the desert. Next 28 March is the birthday of Shakib Khan. On that day, the trailer of ‘Rajkumar’ will be unveiled at Burj Khalifa. We are in that effort. I have completed all the formalities for this. I will get the confirmation in two days."

Arshad Adnan also said that ‘Rajkumar’ will be released not only in Bangladesh, but also in different countries of the world including the United States, United Kingdom, Middle East, Canada and India.

Referring to ‘Rajkumar’ as an international film, Shakib said, “Rajkumar is a movie, which we truly call an international movie. The film is going to be released simultaneously in many countries of the world.”

Praising producer Arshad Adnan, the Dhallywood superstar said, “We need more industrial-minded producers like him. He is an impossible dreamer. The movie ‘Priyotoma’ is an example. The movie ‘Priyotoma’ has been screened with success in various parts of the world.”

Shakib, who participated in the event with no makeup, said, “I came very simply, very simply. No makeup, no getup. I reached out to my fellow entertainment journalists. The intention is to spend some quality time together.”

It may be mentioned that, American actor Courtney Coffey has become Shakib’s heroine in the movie “Rajkumar”.
